MENOPAUSE YOGA
Supporting you in every stage of the menopause, from perimenopause into the post- menopausal years.
Every woman will go through the menopause and every woman’s experience of it is different. While some sail through this time of hormonal change, others will experience at least one of the 30 plus symptoms created by her fluctuating hormones, especially the decline in oestrogen.
Menopause Yoga, created by Petra Coveney, for which I am an accredited teacher, draws on different disciplines (including Traditional Chinese Medicine and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, as well as Hatha and Restorative yoga) for classes and workshops. These sessions give women an opportunity to understand the changes occurring at this lifestage, share experiences and practice specific yoga poses, breathing and meditation techniques to help manage the main symptoms and ease the transition from peri to post-menopause in an empowered, positive way. Menopause is reframed as a Second Spring and an opportunity to improve future wellness.
CLASSES
Online classes run every Wednesday at 6.00pm.

Hot flushes, night sweats and letting go…
A cooling and calming yoga practice in which you’ll learn simple breathing techniques together with specially chosen poses and other tools to help you manage hot flushes and night sweats.
Meno-rage, irritability and letting off steam…
Release tension and soothe hot emotions with mind calming moves and breathwork. This class encourages rest and balance and provides easy tips to use at home, at work or on the go.
Overwhelm, menopausal anxiety and moving into stillness
Fluid moves combined with supportive breathwork, affirmations and meditation help to ground and calm scattered minds; equilibrium restored.
Lethargy, low mood and rebooting energy
Uplifting poses meet muscle-strengthening and toning moves in classes that are suitable for any stage of menopause, but may feel especially empowering in late menopause and early post-menopause. One to boost stamina and positivity!
